May I take this opportunity to thank my consultant, Mr Murali Krishnan who has been sensational throughout my treatment to date. From my initial consultation he has been the ultimate professional ensuring that I was informed of each treatment that I could be considered for, and the treated that he has initially administered. I was particularly impressed with his verbal description of my injured hip and his visual description utilising my X-rays was second to none. My thanks and gratitude to Mr Murali Krishnan, without his guidance and surgical skillsets I would probably find myself in more pain than I need to be at this stage of my life. If required, I would be more than happy to speak with Spire representative to inform them of this outstanding consultant/surgeon.

I had the pleasure to meet Mr Murali Krishnan, Orthopaedic Surgeon in 2022 at Washington Spire Hospital and underwent right hip replacement. I can’t express my gratitude enough for the service I received. From start to finish, courtesy and respect were second to none. I was so happy with the outcome of my surgery, 1st class.

Today I had further consultation as I am having trouble with my left hip. It was so reassuring meeting up again due to the professionalism and confidence I have in his ability. Can’t speak highly enough of the full service I have received.

Mr Krishnan has been 100% professional with my care during a full knee replacement 2 years ago and recently a hip replacement. He has put me at ease before and after both surgeries. Always polite with very clear explanation of what is happening. My care has been exceptional.

May I take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for the hip replacement surgery on 17th January. Speaking 6 weeks later, I am pleased to say it has been a complete success giving me the opportunity of a better quality of life. Furthermore, I would also like to express my gratitude fir your gentleman-like advisory and reassuring post-op support.

Mr Krishnan replaced my left knee in January 2022 and my left hip in October 2022. My mobility is so much better and I no longer have any pain. Has made my life so much better. I will always be grateful for the change it has made for me. Thank you to everyone in Spire for the care you give to us.

After experiencing increasing discomfort from my left knee over many years and a loss of confidence in its continued ability to support me, it was decided, after a number of consultations, X-rays and general advice, that a total knee replacement would be the most appropriate, long term, solution. This has now happened and I am thrilled with the outcome. I have nothing but praise for the skill of the surgeon Mr. Krishnan and his surgical team throughout the procedure which progressed exactly as had been carefully explained to me at the outset. I was also most grateful for the care and attentiveness of the nursing staff who looked after me at The Spire Washington. The recovery exercises continue as instructed and, although I must curb my impatience to advance at a quicker pace than I have been recommended,I have every confidence that it will not be too long before my mobility will be better than it has been for many years. Once again, my thanks to all those involved in helping me to enjoy a vastly improved quality of life.

I Would like to thank all that attended me during my last visit to the

Spire hospital where I underwent my 2nd full Knee replacement under the care of Doctor Krishnan I had been having issues with my knees for quite some time with a lot of pain and movement restricted I could no longer bare the pain and discomfort I was dealing with I had my left knee surgery done in 2020 and was amazed with the results and pain free in that joint. The reason I had to undergo this treatment was due to suffering from osteoarthritis and gout within my knee Joints. I have just underwent my Right Knee replacement 4 weeks back in which I had no movement at all prior to my Surgery. Now 4 weeks in and I have got a bend in my knee to 80 degrees and with further physio will have fully functional knees once again.

I would recommend the spire to anyone as I am very happy with the outcome and care provided.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Mr Krishnan and all the staff present on the 10th February when I had my hip replacement, for the wonderful care I received before, during and after my operation. I was extremely nervous non the day but I was put at complete ease the moment I went to the daycase unit. As a retired ICCU rehab assistant, its not easy being on the receiving end of care but you were all excellent.

I wanted to express my gratitude and appreciation following two hip replacement surgeries in the last year. Both of these surgeries were carried out by Mr Krishnan and his team at the Spire Hospital in Washington.

From my very first consultation to the stays in hospital and the aftercare I felt well looked after and in safe hands throughout the whole process. I was kept well informed throughout with regular contact through check in calls from the hospital after returning home to the efficiency of the after care appointments. Every aspect of my care was carefully considered and while facing these surgeries could have been daunting, Mr Krishnan and his team made the process a very positive experience.

I would like to express my extreme appreciation for what has been a life changing surgery for me and has given me back my independence.
